mā´gor-mis´a-bib (מגור מסּביב, māghōr miṣṣābhı̄bh, “terror on every side”): A name given by Jeremiah to Pashhur ben Immer, the governor of the temple, who had caused the prophet to be beaten and set in the stocks ().
