The King James Version and the English Revised Version have “waterspouts,” the English Revised Version margin “cataracts.” The etymology of the word is uncertain. It occurs also in , translated “watercourse,” the King James Version “gutter.” Compare (צנתּרות, canterōth), “spouts” ().
