behave themselves strangely = mistake it. Hebrew. nakar, a Homonym with three meanings: (1) to mistake, Deu_32:27; (2) to acknowledge, Job_34:19; (3) to deliver. 1Sa_23:7. Both Authorized Version and Revised Version miss the first (Revised Version = misdeem), admit the second and third (though the Revised Version margin suggests "alienated" for "delivered").
