Bind. Hebrew. 'asar, to bind, or join. Here, in its idiomatic usage, to join, so as to make ready (Gen_46:29. Exo_14:6. 1Ki_18:44. 2Ki_9:21), or begin (1Ki_20:14. 2Ch_13:3).
sacrifice. Hebrew. hag = a feast, or festal [sacrifice]. See note on Exo_23:18, and compare Exo_5:1; Exo_12:14; Exo_23:14. Lev_23:39, Lev_23:41. Num_29:12. Deu_16:15. Zec_14:16, Zec_14:18, Zec_14:19.
cords = wreaths, or garlands, as in Exo_28:14, Exo_28:22, Exo_28:24, Exo_28:25; Exo_39:15, Exo_39:17, Exo_39:18.
even unto. Hebrew. 'ad = up to or during: i.e. even until [it is consummated at] the horns of the altar. 'Ad denotes progression in time. Translate: "Make ready the festal sacrifice with garlands until [it is consummated at] the horns of the altar. "Compare Act_14:13. There is nothing about "to the altar" here.
