the son of man. No Art. Occurs 3 times before this (Num_23:19. Job_25:6; Job_35:8). In singular 111 times in O.T. and 39 times in plural (the other occurrences in the Pss. (Psa_49:2; Psa_144:3) is a different word). Here, Psa_8:4, the title relates to dominion in the earth. Compare verses: Psa_1:6-9, and see notes on Eze_2:1, Mat_8:20, and Rev_14:4.
