This Chapter Verse Commentaries:
Moses. He was the grandson of Levi, and exercised priestly functions before Aaron (Exo_24:6-8); even consecrating him (Ex. 28). He and Aaron are both included "among His priests".
Samuel. Compare 1Sa_7:9, 1Sa_7:10; 1Sa_12:18.
They called. Omit "They", which obscures the sense, by leaving Moses and Aaron without a predicate. Compare Exo_15:25; Exo_32:11-14; Exo_33:12-14. Num_11:2; Num_21:7. Deu_9:20, Deu_9:26. Psa_106:23.
